Well, from the looks of this exclusive peek into Sci Fi’s much-lauded remake of 80s sci-fi classic V, she did.

Mitchell plays Erica Evans, an FBI agent who’s suspicious of the Visitors who have come to Earth spreading what seems to be a message of love, peace and very very attractive people.

We’ve already seen the first episode, and if you love your sci-fi, you’re going to be hooked.

Skins, As If, Hollyoaks may have blazed the teenage trail until now, but we caught sight of an intriguing, darkly funny and excellently acted new show at E4’s Autumn Launch.

And now we have the shiny shiny trailer to share with you lovely people too.

In short, it follows a group of ASBO-licious yoofs as they go about their community service. And then they get struck my lightning. Which grants them superpowers.

Bonkers, maybe, but when it looks this good, who’s complaining?

The pilot episode has already garnered considerable critical acclaim in the US: USA Today called it “smart, funny and well-cast”, Variety named it “one of the best comedy pilots in a long time” and Time Magazine found it “the funniest new family comedy of the year…very, very funny”. Plus, it has already attracted a big name guest star in the shape of Edward Norton, who will play a band bassist in an episode later in the year.

Modern Family starts on October 15th at 8pm on Sky One and continues every Thursday hereafter.

And this time, it’s…. well, it’s pretty much unlike any Stargate you may have seen before (for one thing there are no boogly eyed aliens on first glance).

Geeks may be anticipating the new show with baited breath, but we’ve already seen it and reckon it’s a captivating and intriguing start to what will hopefully yet another long-running entry into the series.

Here’s a little taster for you, with main man Robert Carlyle about to either (a) blow up the ship they’re trapped on or (b) save them all….

Stargate Universe starts on October 6th at 8pm on Sky One and continues every Tuesday hereafter.

When Cleveland Brown leaves Quahog with his chubby son Cleveland Jr. they wind up Cleveland’s childhood town. He soon hooks up with his high school sweetheart and they start a new family together.

It’s already started in the US but when The Cleveland show does come to the UK, don’t look for it amongst Family Guy episodes on BBC3. This show has been snapped up by E4, which among other things means that there will be ad breaks in each 22 minute long episode.

No word yet on when we’ll see the show but we’ll keep you posted.

Place a pillow just under your chin, because you’re jaw is going to plummet after seeing this clip from Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch series, which has its new season premiere as of Tuesday 8th September.

For those not in the know, the series follows a number of fishing boats in the Bering Sea during the Alaskan king crab and Opilio crab fishing seasons.

And it’s insanely dangerous. Just check this out….

The show will include original cast members Jonathan Bailey as ‘Danny’, Danny Morgan, who since Fresh has co-presented on Channel 4’s Tonightly, as ‘Shane’, Joanna Cassidy as ‘Scarlet’ and James Buckley, who most famously appeared as young deviant Jay in the Inbetweeners, as ‘Fred’. They will be joined by an ensemble of supporting roles that include Felicity Montagu and rising comedy stars Georgia King and Jonny Sweet.

Off the Hook is a comedy set on campus at Bankside University, exploring the lives of a mismatched group of fresh-faced students and their first taste of independent life, with all the mishaps and misadventures that entails. Series One plots a calamitous course from the social whirlwind of fresher’s week through the first term of university – each episode a new comic adventure.
