MK1 Booted Off The X Factor
Urban act MK1 were last night eliminated from the X Factor in a sing-off against Kye Sones. The duo chose to sing their version of ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’, whilst Sones performed ‘I can’t make you love me’, fitting enough for an act in the bottom two.
For the third week running, the final decision was made by the public as the judges were deadlocked. Barlow and Walsh both chose to save their own acts, Scherzinger picked Sones, and Tulisa, sticking with her “urban roots”, chose the N-Dubz-lite pairing.
When asked on Caroline Flack and Olly Murs’ Xtra Factor show how they felt, MK1’s Sim said: “we kind of were confident it could have been enough.”
Charlie Rundle, the other member of the group, who last week caused a minor tabloid sensation by posing topless in a picture posted on Twitter, described the show as the “best experience.”
