BBC launches iPlayer mobile downloads
Well it’s good news for all you that have, because the BBC has launched a long-awaited mobile downloads function for it’s iPlayer app, giving Apple users the ability to save programmes on phones and tablet devices to watch at a later date.
The move means that owners of iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices can now watch BBC shows on the move in places without an internet connection, such as planes and the tube, with downloaded programmes available for up to 30 days.
Once you have pressed play on a show however, it will no longer be watchable after seven days.
At present it’s just owners of Apple devices that have this great new feature, but Auntie promises to update Android owners very soon.
