Young Del Boy Back For Good
After the success of Only Fools & Horses prequel Rock & Chips earlier this year, the BBC have announced that they will be making a whole series based on the exploits of young Del Boy and his mates.
Inbetweeners star James Buckley will be playing the young wheeler dealer again in what is set to be a six-part run which presumably follows on from the one we saw in January.
Buckley told The Sun that writer John Sullivan had already approached him about reprising the role. “I got a text from him and he said he was in the middle of writing six hour-long episodes,” said the actor.
Set in the 1960s, the original one-off followed the lives of a young Del and his mum and dad Joan and Reg Trotter. The show was generally well-received by fans and many were very vocal in their support for a full series, a factor which may have influenced the Beeb’s decision.
