BGT: Bookies Make Spellbound Favourites
The acrobatic team are currently at 4/1 to win the competition and David Williams of Ladbrokes said: “It’s going to take something really special to topple Spelbound. They are far and away the most popular act we’ve seen in the series so far.”
The 13 talented athletes travel the world performing in – and more often than not winning – competitions and told reporters that they were more interested in getting recognition from sports organisers than winning BGT, despite easing into the semi-finals.
“We thought that we would give Britain’s Got Talent a shot to promote the sport so it can become an Olympic sport,” Spellbound leader Alex Uttleytold The Sun. “We train three times a day, every single day. We put so much effort in and it’s demoralising it’s not taken seriously enough.”
