Everybody’s favourite singing sensation Glee hit its highest ever viewing figures with last night’s episode.

1.47 million people tuned in to see McKinley High’s glee club, New Directions, reach and win the Sectionals competition, the highlight of which was Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) performing Don’t Rain On My Parade.

Other songs in the episode were And I Am telling You I’m Not Going, You Can’t Always Get What You Want and My Life Would Suck Without you.

The show has gone from strength to strength and but we’ll have to wait until 19th April to see what happens next.

But if you really can’t wait then you can get all the Glee gossip you can handle at OTB.

To tide you over, here’s a clip from Sue’s Corner, where demonic cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester explains why she doesn’t like ‘sneaky gays’.
