R.I.P. Scrubs

Well who didn’t see this coming? Madcap hospital comedy Scrubs has been cancelled after nine seasons due to poor ratings.

It comes as no great surprise that the show lost viewers in the later years as the lead character J.D., played by Zach Braff, only made cameo appearances in the last two seasons while other characters left altogether.

The announcement was made via Braff’s Facebook page.

“Many of you have asked, so here it is: it appears that ‘New Scrubs’, ‘Scrubs 2.0’, ‘Scrubs with new kids’, ‘Scrubbier’, ‘Scrubs without JD’ is no more. It was worth a try, but alas… it didn’t work. zb.”

What will we do without the crazy antics of J.D. and Turk? We’ll probably just watch the E4 repeats but still, it will be missed.

RIP Scrubs 2001-2010
