Channel 5 has commissioned a new Glee-like reality series, according to reports.

The programme – which will be called Don’t Stop Believing – aims to find Britain’s best musical performance group, with hopefuls being scored by judges in various rounds and eliminated one-by-one, before viewers vote for an eventual winner.

It sounds a bit more liek X Factor than Glee to us but according to The Sun, Tess Daly, Kym Marsh and Martine McCutcheon are in the running to host the show.

“There’s an explosion in musical performance groups and Don’t Stop Believing will tap into that exciting groundswell,” said Five’s controller Richard Woolfe.

“This will be the first series to combine both singing and dancing to create an amazing entertainment spectacle which will completely capture the viewers’ imagination.”

Hopefuls are being encouraged to enter now via Five’s website.
