Harry Hill has signed a multi-million pound deal to stay at ITV and make two more series of TV Burp.

The contract, thought to be worth £5 million, also includes two new runs of You’ve Been Framed and the opportunity for Harry to develop new shows.

The big-collared funnyman had been courted by Sky but decided to stay in his primetime ITV spot.

Harry said: “If you’re a light entertainer there’s really only one place to be on a Saturday night, and that’s ITV.?

The 45-year-old’s off-the-wall clips show brings in around 6 million viewers every week while You’ve Been Framed averages audiences of 5 million.

His boosted bank balance comes after other ITV stars, including Ant and Dec, took a pay-cut last year.
