Never before has a tracksuit looked so glamorous as it has on Glee’s evil cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, played by Jane Lynch.

But Lynch has revealed that she’s a real softie in real life. Speaking to The Sun, the star said, ‘”When I put on that tracksuit I feel I have a licence to say anything. I’m much nicer in reality.”

We suspected as much. Lynch earned herself a Golden Globe nomination by being a frequent scene stealer in the award winning show with her venemous attacks on, well, everyone.

And if being a huge TV star wasn’t enough, she’ll also be appearing in Simon Pegg and Nick Frost’s alien road movie Paul.

Though she’s a confident, successful performer now, Lynch describes how she relates to the shy, stuttering character of Tina on the show. “I see myself in Tina. She’s really talented, but holds herself back.

I was always a bit of a surprise to people if I allowed myself to really be seen.”

And that’s how Sue C’s it.
