EastEnders: “Archie’s Murderer Was A Woman” Says… Archie

Anyone who has been watching EastEnders this year will know what a rubbish job the Walford Police Department have made of finding Archie Mitchell’s killer.

Of course they are one of the busier forces in the country (the death-rate in Walford is rising by the day) and unlike The Sun, they never got the chance to interview the murder victim after he snuffed it. But we doubt that would have made much difference, their record thus far speaks for itself: 183 arrests and no leads.

Indeed the only person they haven’t bothered questioning is Lucas (the one man in The Square who has definitely murdered someone).

But a break in the case may have been forthcoming this week as Larry Lamb – who played the recently deceased landlord – came forward to offer his evaluation of the situation.

“I’d put money on the killer being female. I don’t think it will be Peggy. Janine’s got form… but I don’t know”, he said before speaking of the nerves his former colleagues must be feeling ahead of Friday’s live episode in which we discover the truth. “”I’m getting nervous just thinking about it for them!”

Despite what you say Larry, our money is on Peggy…
