dalek-complete5Two Daleks, a sea devil and a legion of Cyberman will be auctioned off in a historic Doctor Who prop sale.

They are among the 166 lots of costumes, creatures and even cars from the cult series that will go under the hammer at Bonhams this month.

A dinner suit worn by David Tennant in the show’s Christmas special last year is expected to fetch up to £3,000 and an Imperial Dalek is thought to make £7,000.

The auction will attract fans from the world over eager to get their hands on a piece of authentic memorabilia.

Kinky costumes worn by Kylie Minogue when she appeared on the show are up for sale along with Kroll Squid, Mandrells, Foamasis, Mogarians and a Brontasaurus dating back to Jon Pertwee’s term in the Tardis.

Devotees can even bid on a pair of pyjamas and dressing gown worn by Billie Piper’s character Rose Tyler – expected to fetch £250.

The BBC’s prop-shop must be having a real good clear-out – one lot features a “Primark top with cuffs stained with make-up?.

Fans looking for something to wear to the next convention can choose from a range of Cyberman costumes in various designs and sizes on offer from £1,000 to £3,000.

The Magma Creature is another lot expected to gain special interest. It appeared in The Caves of Androzani, Peter Davison’s last show as the Doctor in 1984 and often voted the best episode by fans.

The sale takes place in Knightsbridge, west London, on February 24.
