When we heard that sexy cult drama Supernatural was getting a spin-off, we were kind of hoping that it was going to be Sam and Dean Winchester being, um, shirtless. A lot.
But apparently that’s not it at all. A web series will be coming soon and will be based on the exploit of the Ghostfacers, a team of ghost hunters that appeared in episodes of Supernatural.
Variety reports that there will be ten episodes each running at just three minutes. Hardly seems worth it to be honest.
Wonderland TV boss Peter Johnson said, “It felt like the nature and style of what they do with their show-within-a-show would be fun to see in new media. It’s a fun, subversive way to allow these characters to play in the margins.”
The web series is just the latest extension of Supernatural as it’s already spawned a series of comic books, an official magazine and even a few novels. On TheWB.com there will also be blooper reels, behind the scenes footage and photo galleries for the series too.
Hmm, we’re guessing only hardcore fans will bother will webisodes that are so short but hey, every little helps.

WOOHOO!!!! So happy for the gang! But it’ll be on the TheWB.com and not CW site? Just want to be sure
There will be bloopers, behind the scenes stuff and photo galleries on TheWB.com and CWTV.com
