heathermillsHeather Mills has never been one to miss an opportunity to tell everyone how terribly difficult her life has been (despite being paid nearly £25 million to have a baby).

This week the rubbish charity campaigner has revealed that she has lost so much weight on Dancing On Ice that her prosthetic leg no longer fits.

Sir Paul McCartney’s ex-wife revealed that her stump has got smaller through exercise and now she needs a new socket to house her artificial leg.

Mills – who came seventh on Sunday – kept all her fans updated on her website after this weekends show: “Off to get a new socket made as limb tissue has shrunk.”

“Some days the leg is great and you can run and dance, then some days I have to stay in. If you put on or lose five or six pounds and it swells up then it loses the grip and it pistons and bleeds and blisters, then you’ve got to leave the leg off for a few days and let it heal.”

Disaster nearly struck for the self-publicist when her leg briefly came off in her first-week routine, but her tights held it in place.

She and her partner Matt Evers have apparently been practicing a three-legged routine in case that happens again.
