Jeremy Sheffield Skates Off Dancing On Ice

jeremy210x300TV hunk Jeremy Sheffield was voted off Dancing On Ice in last night’s elimination when he went into the bottom two against Sharron Davies.

Although Jeremy is a trained dancer, he never looked very comfortable on the ice in addition to the fact that he sustained an injury just before Christmas.

Though judge Emma Bunton gave predictably high scores, she voted to save Olympic swimmer Sharron when it came to the skate off and has said that she was planning to save Sharron all along.

Jeremy said of his defeat, “I’m disappointed, obviously. After all that work. But I’m ever so slightly relieved that I’m not going to be in so much pain! I felt I’d just started to get up to speed.”

While Jeremy was not the worst skater by far, he suffered from the public vote. Dr. Hilary Jones from GMTV received the lowest score of 7.5 but was saved by the public vote, hereafter known as ‘The John Sargeant Effect.’ We’ve seen this before though, haven’t we Todd Carty…
