sinittaMoney-grabbing ‘charity worker’ Heather Mills escaped the chop on last night’s Dancing On Ice as ex-pop star Sinitta became the first celebrity to be voted off the show.

Simon Cowell’s old flame found herself in the bottom two alongside Sharron Davies after the judges and public had voted.

Both ‘celebrities’ then had to repeat their earlier performances in a bid to remain in the competition, before Sinitta was voted off following a mistake made whilst entering one of her lifts.

“I had such high hopes,” Sinitta said. “I was starting to love it. It’s been an amazing experience – thank you so much.”

The first installment of Dancing on Ice focused solely on the female competitors, and judges were impressed by EastEnders star Daniella Westbrook, although many will be unsurprised by how quickly she managed to get on the ice.

Gordon Ramsay’s wife was not quite as popular, with judge Jason Gardiner slamming her for her rigidity: “There was nothing going on in your face.”

Ramsay, who was watching in the audience, will probably have muttered a few expletives after those comments.

Needless to say, ‘charity worker’ Heather Mills’ performance was the talk of the night getting high praise for having the guts to compete.
