jonathan-rossWe can weveal that Jonathan Woss has accepted a massive 50 per cent pay cut, which will see his salary cut by £3million.

The BBC presenter who faced a campaign to see him sacked from the Daily Mail last year after he and Wussell Brand left an offensive message on Andrew Sach’s answer machine.

He has also agweed to have his contwact shortened from three years to two.

(OK we’ll stop it now.)

A source close to the TV presenter told The Sun: “Jonathan is happy to stay at the BBC and is fully aware he needs to take a pay cut. He has offered to take a 50 per cent pay cut and will be committed to his TV and radio shows.”

However it has been reported that the cut could be even greater as BBC Director General Mark Thompson has yet to rubber stamp the deal and Graham Norton is expected to step in if Ross refuses to be paid less.

Interestingly enough, many believe that the BBC are trying to tie him down to a contract before next year’s general election in the wake of the power-hungry Tories promise to push for more transpawency at the Beeb (sorry).

Yay for taking the piss out of a speech impediment. Also, you got the whole story completely wrong.
