X Factor: Stacey Voted Out
She may have been honoured by a pizza shop owner, but Dagenham girl Stacey Soloman has finished third in X Factor after being voted off by the public in the first part of this weekend’s X Factor final.
That means that Essex lad Olly Murs and Geordie favourite Joe McElderry will contest Sunday night’s showdown.
Solomon, who performed ‘Who Wants To Live Forever’, ‘Wonderful World’ and ‘Feeling Good’ on tonight’s show, received the fewest amount of public votes and will not take part in tomorrow’s final.
After the result was announced, Stacey magnanimously said: “I came third, that’s really good. I’m really proud. I’ve had the time of my life. Thanks to everyone who kept me here to the final.”
Her mentor Dannii Minogue added: “It’s been an incredible journey. I’ve made an amazing friend. I’d just like to thank everyone who supported her – she’s an absolute talent and a star.”
