I’m A Celebrity: Hail King Gino
The favourite managed to beat out competition from clucking mother hen Kim Woodburn who finished second and snooker legend Jimmy White, who scooped third place.
He told Ant and Dec, “It feels great; I know that I’m going to get into some kind of civilisation very soon.
“These three weeks have been crazy, up and down. I don’t think there’s ever been a day when I’ve thought, ‘what am I doing here, I should be at home doing something else’ – I really enjoyed every bit of the experience.”
Kim was most upset about losing the luxuries of home. She said, “I slummed it, dear, I had ants in my pants.”
She added: “You’re taken from all your creature comforts, which you all take for granted, and suddenly you are dropped into a hell hole.”
Jimmy White’s highlight was the team effort that eventually won out after initial bickering (pointing no fingers ahemJordanahem)
“I really got involved, and we all kept a nice group. The greatest thing for me was the group effort, we all became pals and helped each other out.”
He said he had lost 22lbs in weight and added: “I learned a lot about myself and I’m absolutely delighted I’ve come here.”
So that’s it for another year. Who would you like to see in next year’s line up? Personally I’d like to see a Bear Grylls/Ray Mears face off. First one to kill, skin and make a tent out a crocodile wins…
