Who’s Bad? BBC Want People’s Moonwalk Videos

In our experience moonwalking should really be left to the professionals – but as you can imagine there isn’t a shortage of people who are willing to imitate Michael Jackson’s moves at any opportunity.

Next week BBC Three’s Move Like Michael Jackson kicks-off. Loads of dancers turned up for the show’s auditions and performed their hearts out.

The judges were impressed by the talent on show. But only 16 finalists will get the chance to work with Michael Jackson’s choreographer and friend Lavelle Smith Jr. Then they’ll go head-to-head in a dance-off which will be judged by Jermaine Jackson, Jamelia and Mark Summers (European casting director for the THIS IS IT Tour).

It's going to be tense.

But the BBC appear to be gluttons for punishment because they're encouraging more people to send them clips of themselves performing the great man's trademark steps.

They've even provided instruction videos - like the one above demonstrating the moonwalk - and a lucky (or unlucky) few will be shown during the final itself which is set to air on 20th December.
