Shamon readers!

The latest piece of Michael Jackson news is upon us and after that crazy bloke’s attempts to talk to the spirit of the one-gloved wonder, this relatively rational news story is a breath of fresh air.

BBC3 have announced plans to honour the recently departed star with a new six-part dance series called Move Like Michael Jackson.

Hosted by Radio 1’s Reggie Yates, the show will embark on a nationwide search to find the dancers with the moves to emulate the King of Pop.

Predictably the programme will include highlights of the brilliant and terrible auditions before organisers whittle down the hopefuls to 16 finalists who will perform in front of a panel of judges that includes some of Jackson’s relatives.

Winners will perform at the official Michael Jackson tribute concert next June.
