Ex-Corrie Star Tina In Lesbian Drama

Ex-Corrie star Tina O’Brien is set to make a red-hot return to TV in a racy new lesbian drama.

The actress who played teen-mum Sarah Platt in the street, will share a screen kiss with Shameless star Maxine Peake, in BBC2’s The Scandalous Diaries of Anne Lister.

“I can’t wait. It’ll be a challenge but it makes no odds whether I’m kissing a man or a woman on screen. It’s just a job,” said Tina.

The raunchy action centres on 19th century heroine Anne Lister, dubbed the first lesbian of the modern age after her same-sex marriage in the early 1800s.

The series is due for broadcast early next year.
