After What Not To Wear came How To Look Good Naked, so it was only a matter of time before a programme like this came along.

Naked Britain is the name of a new three-part documentary from Sky1 which will dissect the nation’s attitude to nudity, beginning in early November.

Host psychologists Jack Lewis and Anjula Mutanda will be finding out what people think of their sun deprived bodies before asking whether the UK deserves its prudish reputation.

“I want to test my own attitudes to nudity”, said Jack as Anjula listened with concern. “I thought it’d be interesting to throw myself in the deep end and see what my prejudices are in certain scenarios.”

Call us cynics but we believe it might be less down to prejudice and more a matter of practicality – the weather in Britain is shocking.
