Inbetweeners Movie In The Pipeline!

Back in the day, a comedy show had to serve an extensive apprenticeship in programme form before being promoted to the big screen.

Now however, it seems that a couple of half-decent series is enough to instigate talk of a film production.

Admittedly Inbetweeners is better than your average comedy, but is it ready for a feature length presentation?

Well apparently so, and when questioned at the TV Quick & TV Choice Awards, where the E4 series was crowned best comedy show, Simon Bird played it about as cool as his character Will might have done: “I don’t know – we’re not allowed to say. It’s not up to us. I mean, that’s obviously a yes!?

After effortlessly destroying any suspense that might have been building, Bird added: “I’d like to see Will finally pop his cherry! Just more of the same, I think. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.?

Excellent news.
