Following the devastation of Totally Saturday, the identity crisis-riddled former sex toy purveyor to the elderly Graham Norton is sensationally poised to quit the BBC for old stable Channel 4.

The Irish comic is in discussions to take over Paul O’Grady’s daytime talk show.

According to sources: “Graham has enjoyed his time at the BBC, but it is highly unlikely he will be signing back exclusively with the BBC at the end of this year… Channel 4 are very keen to have him home?.

Graham Norton kicked off his presenting career on Channel 4, with late night show So Graham Norton, before moving to the Beeb in 2005.

Paul O’Grady is set to quit his show when his contract expires at the end of the year, following drastic budget cuts.

It sounds as though Graham’s trying to unjump the shark. Hasn’t anyone taken notice? Norton pre-watershed doesn’t work. It’s like when your mother-in-law is incredibly nice to you all of a sudden. Not right.
