E4 has commissioned a one-off Bo’ Selecta show to pay tribute to the late Michael Jackson.

Cha’Mone: A Tribute to Michael Jackson will see Leigh Francis revive the infamous mask for one last time.

There will also be new characterisations of Uri Geller and David Gest.

Whether Michael Jackson was a Bo’Selecta fan is unclear, but we’re sure that he would appreciate the enthusiasm with which he was portrayed on the show.

Head of E4, Angela Jain said: “We’re thrilled to have Leigh resurrect Bo’Selecta for a very special send-off, send-up. It will no doubt be an affectionate and hilarious tribute to Mr Jackson.?

Francis added: “People likened his passing to the death of Elvis Presley or John Lennon. To me it was like the death of superman or finding out that there was no such thing as Santa Claus.?

If this is to become a tradition, then Francis may be quite busy in the years to come. Surely Ozzie can’t keep defying medical science for much longer and Craig David has been missing for some time.

“This is my tribute to the King of Pop,? said Francis.

Cha’Mone indeed.
