ITV have confirmed that it will be airing a new 90-minute fly-on-the-wall documentary following ‘popstar’ Peter Andre later this month.

The news comes as confirmation that one of the most calamitous publicity juggernauts in show-business will not be slowing down any time soon.

Peter Andre: Going It Alone, will have exclusive access to the singer as he attempts to relaunch his pop career with the inexplicably titled single, Behind Closed Doors.

It could be a long time before I type another sentence as ironic as that.

Reports that the entire writing and recording processes are being recorded for a straight to DVD film are as yet unconfirmed.

The new programme will also include footage of Andre doing his first interviews with the press following his split from Katie Price.

Show highlights will include his attendance of the Bollywood ‘Oscars’ in Macau and clips of him organising a birthday party for his daughter Princess Tiaamii.

“I’m so pleased to be working with ITV2 again, I love filming my reality show and I hope everybody enjoys watching it,” said Andre. “I just can’t wait for the release of my new album!”

The rest of us can Peter.
