Britain’s Got Talent success story Shaheen Jafargholi (does anyone else want to call him Shaheen Jaffacake?) is set to crack the America market by signing up to a prominent US agency.

CAA, based in star central Los Angeles, handles some of the world’s biggest stars such as David Beckham, Brad Pitt and ‘The Mighty O’ Oprah.

Following his moving performance at the Michael Jackson memorial gig on Tuesday, the 12-year-old is expected to be embraced by the notoriously judgemental American audience.

The young star was set to support Jackson at his sold out concerts at the O2 when the legendary singer passed away unexpectedly, leaving millions of fans to grieve. At the memorial, Shaheen sang Jackon’s ‘Who’s Loving You’. Jackson had watched the video of the youngster performing the song on BGT on Youtube and became an instant fan.

Appearing on one of America’s most popular interview shows, Larry King Tonight, Shaheen told King how he felt about the memorial: ‘I felt honoured. I was blessed to be given the opportunity and also the chance to say goodbye to, you know, my idol and my hero in a way that no other person on earth ever could.’
