Britain’s Got Talent panel now a little less ironic

Well we didn’t see this one coming.

Simon Cowell sacking a scantily clad, boobalicious judge on one of his talent shows!? Cheryl must be quaking in her Blahniks.

After barely one week on the judging panel of Britain’s Got Talent, Kelly Brook has been sent on her way.

While to us mere mortals it was only 7 fleeting days since Cowell unveiled Kelly as the fourth judge on the show, that’s an eternity in celeb-time™.

Kelly joined Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan for the first round of auditions in Manchester, but after reviewing tapes over the weekend, show producers decided the new format was “too complicated” with four people on the panel, and Kelly was summarily kicked out the back door.

Simon said in a statement: “Kelly is absolutely lovely and a complete professional, but it’s become clear the format doesn’t support another judge and we will never add a fourth judge to the panel.”

Or, translated from ‘Cowell-ish’, that reads: “Kelly actually has morals and despite her ample, often overflowing bosom, doesn’t want to sleep with me and it’s become clear that she probably never will, so I’m going to take my millions and spend them on something more deserving. Like hookers.”
